Candace Brooks

We can't say enough about Candace Brooks and her team at Compass! We worked primarily with Candace with some help from Linda Dutton and both were knowledgeable and a delight to work with. Candace knew the market inside and out and helped us every step of the way. She worked with us to schedule showings and open houses at our convenience and responded quickly to every call and text. When it came time to submit an offer, Candace walked us through every section of the offer sheet and answered any questions we had. She was thorough in every aspect and really put us at ease. She worked tirelessly with the selling agents of the houses we were interes...

We cannot express enough how grateful we are to have had the pleasure of working with the real estate team of Candace and Linda. They represented us as the seller of our parent’s home and walked us through every step of the selling process with ease and professionalism. From identifying items to be cleared from the home, recommending a cleaning service, donating items to a charity, staging, and to setting a timeline for the sale date, this team displayed years of experience, and impeccable advice and guidance every step of the way. Their calm and easy-going demeanor made the entire process stress-free, but at the same time, they were always proact...

We cannot thank Candace and Linda enough for making the sale of our home such a pleasant experience. Their professional and personal manner along with troubleshooting with our township and quick responses made it all come together. The staging which was done made our home more welcoming and spacious to potential buyers. Record high sale price was the result of their hard work and dedication. Candace and Linda checked all the boxes when searching for a team to transition us to our new chapter in life.

We bought our new home and sold our house using real estate agent, Lauri Bosserman. Lauri brought her warmth and calmness and guided us through both processes. She went above and beyond to coordinate our settlement dates and ease the process. She knows the market and staged our home to present best. Lauri is one of the kindest persons, but her best asset is her organization. She was on top of every detail and communicated in a timely manner. Lauri was very responsive to any questions we had and a solid sounding board. My husband and I would highly recommend her.

Candace & Linda, thank you so much for selling our house. The two of you are a real treasure and a breath of fresh air for your industry.

Candace Brooks and Linda Dutton are simply outstanding realtors who have raised the bar in their profession. We were told this, but experiencing is believing. They are very professional and worked with us to make our beautiful house shine! They put us in touch with very responsive/reasonable contractors and had a professional photographer take AMAZING pictures, as well as an aerial video. They also came to all inspections and made sure the transaction ran smoothly. The end result was the highest sales price to date in our neighborhood -- 32% higher than house that had recently sold! Many people have asked us for their information and we are glad to ...

My husband and I moved from Charlotte, NC to the Philadelphia area over summer of 2021 as part of a corporate relocation for my Company. Candace and Linda went above and beyond to help us learn the area, schedule full days of house viewings over the weekends that we were in town, and managed to get us into last minute appointments when something popped up that we were interested in. They even went so far as to connect us with a realtor in NJ so that we could also check out that area as we were totally new to everything here. They both were incredibly responsive, always taking the time to check in and answer any calls or questions, and they worked ma...

I have had the wonderful opportunity to work with Candace and/or Linda on both sides of a transaction across various property types, both residences and investments.  In both instances this team was extremely knowledgeable around all aspects of the process.  They prepared me for what to expect before things happened which was amazing.  Their expertise really came shining through when identifying what needed to be done in my home BEFORE LISTING so that i would have the best experience possible. and then once again in pricing the home to maximize traffic and offers and then there were present and helpful in all aspects from finding contractors, gettin...

Candace was the buying and selling agent for our homes. Our experience could not have been better. In a very difficult buyers market she was not only able to find a home that was perfect for us but was also able to submit a competitive offer that won us the deal extremely quickly. Her calm demeanor coupled with her passion and knowledge for the industry made us feel very secure going through the home buying process. She does a phenomenal job of working with other agents while keeping your best interests in mind. In addition, we were able to sell our home in a few days with several offers over asking. When the entire process was complete my wife and ...

Candace recently listed and sold my home and also found me a new home. Candace takes the client's best interest in mind and advocates for her client throughout the buying/selling process. She is readily available and is even willing to travel in a tornado to get her client to a showing. Candace has a kind demeanor, with positive relationships in the industry thus gaining her the inside scoop on what is going on in the industry. She is willing to play hardball when needed but does so with finesse. Candance closes deals with the right amount of empathy, knowledge and expertise. Even when things get rough, she manages to stay positive and make every at...

Candace was incredible. Not only did she sell our house in a day for the listed price, she was by our side for over a year as we searched for our next house. Patient, attentive to our needs, and seemingly always available whenever we reached out with a question, idea, or concern. She worked overtime to negotiate on our behalf, and even after closing, she has been helpful in locating contractors and service providers, going the extra mile to make sure we were happy and confident in all of our decisions. In truth, she felt like part of our family. Highly recommended!

I found Candace really easy to work with regardless of the stage in the buying or selling process: casually looking, actively looking, or just wanting advice or recent comps. She was very responsive, helpful, and had great insight into market timing, pricing and home staging recommendations. Plus, she was pleasure to work with on a personal level. Easy to talk to, in tune with what the buyer wanted, and just really nice! Would highly recommend her.

5 giant stars for Candace Brooks and I would strongly recommend her to others looking to buy or sell a home. My mother and I sought Candace’s guidance to sell her home, the family home, after my father past away. Her insight, knowledge and professionalism are all top notch, but what really sets her apart are her patience and compassion, which are just what my mother needs to get through this process. A perfect combination!

Candace recently helped me and my friend during his cross-country move. She was relentless in finding him the perfect home! And we looked at many, many homes. She is extremely knowledgeable about the area, the real estate process, and did a great job with the negotiation! Always working hard and always reachable - via cell, text and email. And she continues to follow-up with us after the purchase. I highly recommend Candace!

Candace was exceptional to work with. She is response, professional and hard working. Her advertising is wonderful and we had multiple showings and offers in a very short period of time at a Low volume time of the year. The office is awesome and our negotiating and inspections were handled extremely well. Thanks for all you did!

Candace was very professional and displayed a strong understanding of all facets of the real estate business. She effectively communicated with us throughout the sales transaction. Candace negotiated a very competitive price for our home. I would strongly recommend Candace to anyone buying or selling a home.

Candace Brooks helped us purchase a home in Yardley, PA last year. My husband and I were very happy with her involvement and dedication in finding us this place. She was very professional, friendly and responsive. I will recommend Candace to anyone who wants to use her services.

Candace was able to find me homes to see that were exactly what I was looking for. She was very knowledgeable about the community where I want to live. She was readily available for all of my needs and I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Candace Brooks was my agent for a recent purchase in Bucks. She was unsparring of her time and followed up on many inquiries. Besides being diligent she is knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. I recommend her highly.

Working with Candace has been a great experience from start to finish. She is professional in her approach and highly engaged. Candace is reliable and goes the extra mile. Overall stellar work!

Candace is truly a pleasure to work with. She was never too busy to respond no matter what time of day it was. I couldn't have found my new home with out!

Thanks so much, Linda and Austin, for all your hard work. It had been a very long time since we had bought and a sold house, but you took us by the hand and led us through the forest of paperwork, explaining each step simply and clearly. The suggestion to stage our home, we are convinced, helped to sell it quickly and for an excellent price and which we put towards purchasing a new house. Again, with your excellent guidance, we were able to secure our new home quickly…all done with a minimum of stress. Your attention to detail and care in making sure we were satisfied with both sale and purchase makes us say, without reservation, that we would wo...

It was a pleasure working with Candace and Linda. True professionals from start to finish, they took the extra time, care, and attention when we decided to sell our family home of 30 years. They worked with us in every detail, with exceptional planning, staging and marketing. My family was extremely pleased with the outcome of the sale, but it was Linda and Candace’s combination of expertise and empathy that we are most grateful for.

Working with Lauri was a dream. As first time homebuyers, she made us feel so comfortable throughout the process. She also knew exactly how to make us competitive buyers. We ended up purchasing the cutest little starter home, even though the house had competing offers on it. Lauri made every step of the process from start to closing day (and even after!) feel so comfortable.

I am writing this testimonial to express my heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for the exceptional service provided by Candace Brooks and Compass RE throughout the process of selling our house. From the very beginning until the final closing, Candace demonstrated an outstanding level of professionalism, expertise and dedication that exceeded our expectations. Candace took the time to truly understand our needs and priorities, and she skillfully guided us through every step of the selling process. Her knowledge of the local market was evident as she accurately priced our home, ensuring that we received the best possible value for our property. She ...

For anyone needing to hire a Realtor in the Bucks County, PA region, I highly recommend Linda Dutton. Recently I was involved in helping my mom sell her home in that area. This was a very difficult real estate sale. Property in physical distress, multiple issues of estate, also aging issues with the seller. My mother and I were very fortunate to have the services of Linda Dutton working for us. First and foremost, she is very understanding of her clients needs and desires. She is excellent in communicating and has a great understanding of Aging issues. She went to great lengths to make sure that both myself and my mother understood the entire proces...

We were so fortunate to have Linda and Candace help with my mother’s downsizing move. Linda and Candace helped us every step of the way - putting together a plan to get the house ready, recommending people to help us (including finding and paying for a stager which was invaluable), and executing the Open House and showings. Their hard work paid off – we had 6 offers and the house sold in two days! Anytime we had a question, they were there with a quick response. I would highly recommend Linda and Candace.

Candace was a phenomenal realtor throughout the entire process, highly recommend her and the Compass Team. We had a challenging situation with needing to sell my mother's house due to having to move her into a nursing home. The house needed inspections, cleaning out, and cleaning up, and Candace's vast network of contractors did a great job, at a reasonable price, and in a timely manner. In every case, Candace was on site to supervise the work and ensure we stayed on schedule and on budget. My wife and I have bought/sold six houses and this was by far the smoothest, as Candace managed the entire process from start to finish without a glitch - do yo...

Working with Lauri and Candace on finding our new home was a breath of fresh air. They’re both extremely knowledgeable and professional. They were always accessible when we needed them and most importantly they understood what we were looking for and helped us find, and secure, our dream home within our budget. They approached the home buying process patiently and pragmatically, helping us understand and take into account every variable to make the right choice for us. It was very apparent from the start that they had our interest at heart and although we know we aren’t their only client, they made us feel like we were. I couldn’t recommend them enough

We couldn't have made a better choice than Candace Brooks to market our home. She was there for us at every stage of the process; and provided us not only with a time-line, but direction and contacts for downsizing and painting, repairs and inspections, and finally staging. We feel she did a great job getting us the best price, which was over our asking price.

Candace and Lauri represented us in the sale of our mid-Century modern home and 8 acres in the New Hope-Solebury area. From start to finish, the process was painless. From our initial meeting through closing, Candace and Lauri showed warmth and understanding, good nature, and unflappability. They showed the same respect and caring for potential buyers, walking our extensive grounds repeatedly, and going out of their way to be sure all queries were answered thoroughly and promptly. We also appreciated their keeping us apprised of buyer and agent feedback following showings. Selling a home you love is a nerve-wracking process, but Candace and Lauri we...

Godsend for my family! Candace was more than just an incredible real estate agent, she understood completely what we were going through when we decided to sell my parents home as my Dad was in end of life care. Her patience, compassion, and professionalism are unmatched. My mom is a former real estate agent and Candace respected her wishes in a very honest and dignified manner. She has a great team of experts that help her to prepare the house for sale. We have even used her recommended painter for our son‘s house because we loved the quality and efficiency they provided. She was able to meet these experts and inspectors during the day while we were...

After 43 years of marriage and 38 years in our wonderful home, suddenly downsizing my life without my wife who passed away and planning to move to an apartment near my daughter and son-in-law in another state seemed overwhelming. That’s where Candace and Lauri stepped in to assure me that they had the ball to not only attractively sell my home but also handle the downsizing which included getting rid of the clutter accumulated over 38 years and moving to another state. And successfully delivering to that assurance both Candace and Lauri did well beyond any of my expectations. Going into it, I didn’t really appreciate the complexity of my move. H...

Working with Lauri and Candace was an outstanding experience from start to finish. I was truly impressed by their strong partnership, they communicate seamlessly with each other and with me, which made the entire process feel smooth, organized, and stress free. They kept me informed every step of the way, were always responsive to my questions, and handled every detail with professionalism and care. Selling my home could have been complex, but they made it feel straightforward and manageable. I felt supported, confident, and well represented throughout the entire transaction. I highly recommend this exceptional team to anyone looking for realtors...

Candace Brooks was incredible in helping my family sell my mom’s house after she passed away. We truly needed guidance, and Candace went above and beyond at every step. She came in with thoughtful recommendations on subtle decor changes that made the house much more marketable. She then brought in her team to help stage the home and rearranged furniture to better showcase the space. Before listing, she even held a pre-listing open house with select local realtors to build interest. The results were better than we could have imagined. We received 6 offers, all over asking price, on the first day after the open house. Even after that, Candace conti...
